The Alvar Aalto Foundation hosts the 16th Alvar Aalto Symposium at the University of Jyväskylä.

The symposium explores how architecture can affect and improve global crises, such as global warming, and social and political changes through talks led by international speakers.

Alongside the discussions, the event offers a fringe programme of guided tours of architect Alvar Aalto's buildings in Finland.
