Kerstin Thompson

Kerstin Thompson is the founding Principal of Kerstin Thompson Architects (KTA).

Thompson is an Adjunct Professor at RMIT and Monash University and actively promotes quality design within the profession and the wider community through talks, participation in government design review panels and as a regular juror on industry award panels.

She was elevated to Life Fellow by the Australian Institute of Architects in 2017, appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in 2022 and awarded the Australian Institute of Architects Gold Medal in 2023.

Her works include the Bundanon Art Museum & Bridge, which was awarded the Sir Zelman Cowen Award in 2022 and the Broadmeadows Town Hall which received multiple accolades for its renewal and reuse of existing civic spaces.
