Based in Long Island, New York, American brand Bestcase has released a bar stool made from crimped sheets of aluminium that come in a selection of raw and powder-coated colourways.

The seat, footrest and frame of the Foundation bar stool have rounded edges and are connected to each other with silver screws.

Momentum Textiles and Wallcovering, which has showrooms in California, Texas, Illinois and New York, worked with British-Nigerian designer Yinka Ilori on a range of kaleidoscopic materials for a range of applications.

The Yinka Ilori collection comes in a selection of distinctive patterns that are intended for use in healthcare, hospitality and workplace interiors to create a positive and joyful atmosphere.

Synsisal carpets by Curran

Design company Curran is based in Seattle, Washington, and has recently released a collection of area rugs made from 100 per cent Econyl nylon.

Plastic from discarded fishing nets and post-consumer plastic waste are used to create Synsisal carpets, which come in five patterns that reference different traditional weaving methods.

Spanish designer Laura Niubó has created a colourful rug for her Los Angeles-based design brand that references the reproductive parts of plants.

Furniture brand KFI Studios operates out of its Louisville, Kentucky, and Chicago, Illinois, showrooms, and worked with Pennsylvania-based product design firm Union Design on the design a seating range characterised by its pronounced, curved back.

Dotti seating is available in low- and high-back variations as well as a matching ottoman, all of which are united by their plump seat and back cushions.
